The Programme

There are channels of energy coursing through the body, organs are connected by a network of nerves to a reflex points on the feet and hands. Through illness and stress, crystalline deposits form at the nerve endings and energy flow is impaired. Reflexology is a deep, technical massage technique that helps to break up these deposits, improves energy flow and helps the body back to a state of balance. This course covers all aspects of the treatment and professional reflexology practise.

The theory is covered by distance learning lessons. The practical requires 4 days of attendance in college.

You must have completed the Anatomy & Physiology and Professional Standards courses.

Suitable for students aged 16 and over. Please ring to enquire about any exceptions.

Progression

If you want to obtain a VTCT certificate in Reflexology at some point in the future you will need to complete 2 small additional qualifications in business and therapy practises. These two additional qualifications are the same ones that you would need if you go on to obtain a VTCT Aromatherapy Certificate. This isn't necessary to obtain insurance and professional status but it is desirable for some learners.
