Further Mathematics is for students who just thoroughly enjoy and/or are very capable at Mathematics. Further Mathematics enables students to obtain a deeper understanding of the subject by studying the compulsory module covering topics such as series, complex numbers and matrix algebra. The Programme Content
Entry Requirements
This course is intended for those students with a very high GCSE grade in Mathematics, typically A or A*. It can only be taken in addition to A Level Mathematics.
Costs
A textbook costing approximately £15 is required for each of the modules. We strongly recommend you buy a revision guide for each module*. We will advise you on the price of these guides when you arrive.

Progression
AS and A2 Level Further Mathematics are valuable, well recognised qualifications for future life; they show you have problem solving skills and logical ordered thinking. You can progress to a mathematics related degree course. A Level Maths is a necessary qualification to study physics or engineering at university.

AS Level one year, A Level two years.
