More and more people are recognising the value of mentoring in developing employees to achieve their full potential. This session looks at the nature and role of mentoring and what development outcomes can be met through mentoring. It looks at the importance of building a mentoring relationship and how to agree outcomes. It will also look at barriers to mentoring and ways to overcome them as well as appropriate and inappropriate behaviour.
