This practical and participative event will introduce some of the key issues in leading virtual teams and some of the trends that are developing in this area. Developed through discussion with senior practicing Virtual Leaders, and supported by academic research, the course allows consideration of practical operational matters that cannot be ignored as well as wider strategic choices that organisations now have. The main focus will be on managing people, maintaining trust, resolving performance issues, and enabling personal development. Throughout the session, we will aim to focus on specific concerns that participants are experiencing or anticipating.
