You learn by completing projects and assignments which are based on realistic workplace activities and demands.

Recognised coaching qualifications in a variety of sporting disciplines. Visits, guest speakers and involvement in local Sports Development Projects. Team building residentials. Facilities are available at Carrick Rangers ground to carry out practical soccer skills sessions and other practical units within the course. Course Update

Michael Hughes Academy has teamed up with the Northern Regional College mto deliver a nationally recognised sports qualification equivalent to 3 A-Level examinations. This initiative is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland to be delivered by a former Premiership player and allows individuals between the ages of 16-19 to gain invaluable education in areas such as sports therapy, physiology and sports psychology, in addition to developing practical skills by working alongside Michael and his specialist coaching team.
