Place of study

The first day of the course will take place in the Engineering Workshops on the Brackenhurst campus. The remainder of the week's instruction will take place at a felling site provided by one of the University's partner organisations. There are several such sites located across the East Midlands, all approximately one hour's drive from Brackenhurst campus. It is essential that candidates have their own transport available for travel to and from the felling site.

Brackenhurst benefits from:

  • purpose-built teaching facilities
  • an equestrian centre
  • a brand-new Veterinary Nursing Building and Animal Unit.

New student accommodation is also available and students have on-site access to:

  • a library
  • a careers service
  • computing facilities
