Career Progression:
Completion of the Level 2 award will you to allow progress to the level 3 programme. It is recommended that you gain practical experience in the workplace before moving onto Level 3. The technical certificate on its own is not a trade-recognised qualification without you carrying out the NVQ. The NVQs bolt on to the end of the technical certificates and can only be obtained once you have gained employment in the trade. The NVQ cannot be carried out unless you have already been working on the technical certificates.
