Intermediate 1, including percentage calculations, volumes of
solids, linear relationships, algebraic operations and properties
of the circle. It is a mandatory unit of the Mathematics
Intermediate 2 course.
OUTCOMES

- Use formulae to find volumes of solids.
- Use linear relationships.
- Perform algebraic operations.
- Use properties of the circle.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
While entry is at the discretion of the centre, candidates will normally be expected to have attained one of the following:
- Standard Grade Mathematics General award, or Intermediate 1 Mathematics award or its component units including Mathematics 3 (Int 1)
- equivalent
