Hairdressing VRQ Level 3 Diploma

This course is designed for those who wish to further develop their skills in hairdressing and will allow you to further develop confidence, interpersonal skills, team building and flexible working as well as technical skills in preparation for the world of work. Please note that in order that we fully prepare you for the world of work you may be required to work 1 day in college from 9am through to 7pm.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This course is suitable for those who have progressed from the VRQ Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing or have extensive relevant work experience as a stylist.

Good communication skills, a willingness to learn new practical skills and working with the general public are essential qualities for working towards attainment of this qualification. Essential skills will be delivered through the delivery and assessment of this programme. A written test will be carried out as part of the interview process.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

The course is for students who have completed VRQ Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing and is designed to develop technical skills in hairdressing in preparation for employment. It will also develop core and essential skills which are key if serious about progressing into employment.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

Assessment is achieved through the observation of practical skills demonstrated on clients. Candidates will complete assessments to attain the knowledge aspects of the hairdressing units on the programme.
