What’s involved?

· You will be introduced to a number of statistical techniques and the use of probability.

· The development of number and algebra skills. Where appropriate, these skills will be assessed within contexts relevant to everyday life.

· You will also consider the more traditional areas of maths: number, algebra, geometry, shape, space and measures.

Examination will be by means of an examination in June.

Entry Requirements:

GCSE Maths grade D.

Which courses go well with this?

This course can be combined with AS Level subjects or other Level 2 courses.

Progression:

Grade C or above in GCSE Mathematics will help to open many doors to courses in Higher Education and future careers.
