Training for Employment - Construction Skills

We may be able to help you get the skills you need with a short, tailored training course. If you have the entry requirements then this could be just what you are looking for.
This course consists of the following:
Any number of units (57 in total) can be joined together, ranging from 1 hour up to 20 hours and can be arranged to make up a course of learning to suit individuals. There are some common units across all trades which would be of benefit to those studying shorter programmes.
- Brickwork
- Plastering
- Wall and floor tiling
- CSCS card
- Basic health and safety practice

- Employment rights and responsibilities (ERR) training and certificate
- Small tools and equipment - identification and use of common and general small tools and equipment
The course offers the opportunity to achieve:
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme) Card
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Certificate
All students must meet the following requirements:
- Aged 19+
- Unemployed and in receipt of an out of work related benefit
- Living in Nottinghamshire
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Reading and writing skills
- Willing to learn and committed to work
- The ability to communicate with team and customers
