Full TimeThe Diploma can be taken as a one year 90-credit Diploma or as a
full two year Extended Diploma. The course is challenging,
rewarding and enjoyable and offer a valuable experience for anyone
with a keen interest and aptitude in this subject area.
The course is made up of a variety of units and you will develop skills through a range of activities to enable you to achieve these units. Your learning programme will be made up of a number of
qualifications which may include an AS/A2 Level in this subject
area.
Essential Skills and Wider Skills are undertaken and are an important part of the programme.
How you will gain the qualification
Each unit is graded pass, merit or distinction and you will be are required to achieve a minimum of a pass grade in each unit to qualify for an overall qualification grade.
What qualifications you need
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* - C including English Language
and an art related subject, preferred grade A* - B, or the
successful completion of a relevant Level 2 Diploma qualification
awarded at Merit or Distinction level.
Entry in all cases is by interview and a portfolio of work, and all you will have the opportunity to attend a taster session prior to the start of the course.

BTEC Level 3 Diplomas are valued by employers and in Higher Education. This course prepares you for employment in the Creative Industries, and application to university onto courses such as fashion styling, marketing, fashion imagery, trend forecasting, fashion buying or promotion.
