Level 5 Tourism Management (Aviation Management & Operations) Foundation Degree

This course is designed to help you if you are looking for a senior management role in aviation. This could include air traffic control, flight operations, fleet planning, aviation safety & security, airline/airport operation & management, airline marketing, human resources in aviation, airport ground handling operation and senior cabin crew.

Students will study the following modules:

• Airport operations
• Managing the service encounter in the aviation sector
• Entrepreneurship
• Industrial experience
• Legal environment
• Management of the aviation environment
• Managing research & information
• Human resource management
• Management techniques

All of the tutors have excellent, in-depth knowledge from working in the tourism and aviation industry.

Students will need between 120 and 240 UCAS points from:

• BTEC National Certificate or Diploma
• At least two 'A' levels at 'A2' or Applied GCE/AVCE Double Award
• Progression Diploma
• Advanced Diploma

Applications from students with a relevant NVQ Level 3 are welcome.
