Level 5 Teaching & Learning (Educational Management) Foundation Degree
The field of education is ever changing and opportunities arise within it for an appropriately qualified workforce who can deliver specialist training. This Foundation Degree allows students to develop generic skills in teaching and learning as well as providing an opportunity for specialising in educational management.

- Key qualities and skills within the management role

Students must have between 120 and 240 UCAS points from:
- BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma
- At least two 'A' Levels at 'A2' or GCE Applied/AVCE Double Award
- Advanced Diploma
- International Baccalaureate
Mature students with at least three years' recent and relevant professional experience, and/or qualifications, including an Access to HE Diploma, in a related area with a suitable academic reference, are welcome to apply.
Students in possession of a Level 5 teaching qualification (i.e.
Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS),
Certificate in Education or Professional Graduate Certificate in
Education (ProfGCE) can apply for direct entry onto year 2 of the
course. Students with relevant experience in the sector may be
permitted to join year 2 of the course.
All students will be interviewed prior to acceptance on the
course.
