Semester 2
Core Module - Personal learning and thinking skills 1 Level 4 - 15 credits
Core Module - Site surveying Level 4 - 15 credits
Core Module - Construction management Level 4 - 15 credits

Year 2 - 90 credits
Semester 1
Optional module 1 Level 4 - 15 credits
Optional module 2 Level 4 - 15 credits
Core module - Personal learning and thinking skills 2 Level 5 - 15 credits

Core module - Law and contracts Level 5 - 15 credits

Level 4 option modules include: Building Services, Sustainable Construction, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Learning from Professional Courses 1.

Level 5 option modules include: Facilities Management for Construction Managers, History of Architecture, Advanced Materials, Learning from Professional Courses 2.

Students must be employed in the role as a construction manager plus achieved ONE of the following:

  • Level 3 Construction and the Built Environment BTEC Diploma
  • Completion of a level 3 construction craft qualification
  • One A Level at grade C or above
  • Two A Levels at E grade (UCAS tariff 80 points)
