This course has been designed to provide students with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in future business employment, or to progress on to a Top-up Degree course. It recognises the value of combining academic and vocational skills to prepare the student for a career in the industry of their choice.

Five of the above modules will be studied in year one and four modules will be studied per year after that.

A final year research project module allows students to combine many of the skills they will have developed to produce findings about a particular area of interest. This will help with their progression should they decide to top-up to an Honours Degree following successful completion of this course.

Students will need between 140 and 240 UCAS points from:

  • BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma
  • At least two 'A' Levels at 'A2' or GCE Applied/AVCE Double Award
  • Advanced Diploma
  • International Baccalaureate

This will be supported by a minimum of GCSEs at grade A*-C in Maths and English Language (or equivalent).

Consideration will be given to other related Level 3 qualifications and related work experience.*

Mature students with relevant experience and/or qualifications, including an Access to HE Diploma within a relevant subject area, are welcome to apply.*

International students require an IELTS (academic) test score of 6.0 (with no component less than 5.5).

*You may be required to attend an interview.
