Business (BTEC Level 3 Diploma)

This course gives students a broad range of knowledge about the business world and helps them develop the understanding and skills needed to prepare them for employment.

Students will study a combination of core and specialist units. Assessment will focus on the completion of coursework for each module

• Career Planning in Business
• Developing Teams in Business
• Aspects of Contract & Business Law
• Starting a Small Business
• Work Skills

Entry Requirements

Students who have successfully completed the Subsidiary Diploma in Business and have a good reference from their personal tutor can progress to the Diploma Year 2.

Delivery & Assessment methods

A variety of assessment methods will be used including written assignments, presentations, group work and in class assessments.

Progression

Successful completion of the course will allow students to progress onto university level education or employment.
