Level 3 Bench Joinery CAA Diploma
This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
Students will study a combination of practical and theoretical skills in bench joinery.
Units include:
- Health and safety
- Management duties
- Planning resources
- Liaising with suppliers
- Estimating
- Maintenance and repair
- Marking out rods
- Producing doors, staircases, bay windows and sash windows
- Developing moulds
- Woodworking machinery
Students must have ONE from the following:
- 4 GCSEs at grades A*-C, including English, Maths and Science
- Level 2 Joinery CAA Diploma, plus GCSE English or Maths at grades A*-C
- Level 2 Joinery NVQ, plus GCSE English or Maths at grades A*-C
- Equivalent qualifications - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English
