This course consists of the following:
- Understanding the role of the social worker
- Understanding health & safety in social care settings
- Understanding how to handle information in social care settings
- Principles of safeguarding and protection in health & social care
- Principles of communication in adult social care settings
- Award in activity provision in social care
- Award in developing skills in the workplace
- Award in promoting food safety & nutrition
Students must have ONE of the following:
- 4 GCSEs including English Language and Maths (3 at grades A*-D including English and 1 at grade A*-E
- Level 1 CACHE Diploma
