This course consists of the following:
3 Pathways:
- Learning disability
- Dementia
- Generic
9 Mandatory Units:
- Health & safety
- Communication
- Personal development
- Equality & inclusion
- Duty of care
- Role of worker
- Safeguarding
- Person-centred support
- Handling information
Students must have ALL of the following:
- Aged 19 years and above
- Employed in a Health or Social Care setting for a minimum of 12 hours per week
- Referral through their employer
This course is suitable for Care Assistants or Support Workers who work with Adults in the Private, Independent, Health or Local Authority Sectors.
