Level 2 Bench Joinery CAA Diploma
This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
Students will study a combination of practical and theoretical modules to form a skills base and understanding of the trade.
Students will study a number of units including:
- Power tools
- Storage of materials
- Interpreting information
- Selecting materials, components and equipment
- Setting out details for bench joinery
- Marking out for routine products
- Health and safety
- Scaffolding
- Fitting and assembling products, eg. frames, linings, windows, stairs, doors, units and fitments
Students must have ONE from the following:
- 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E) including English and Maths

- Equivalent qualifications - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English
Adults 19+ who have industry experience but do not have the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply.
