Description
This course consists of the following:
Generic:
- Working in beauty-related industries
- Follow health & safety in the salon
- Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
- Promote products and services to clients in a salon
- Salon reception duties
Technical:
- Provide manicure & pedicure treatments
- Remove hair using waxing techniques
- Provide facial skin care
- Provide eyelash & brow treatments
Optional:
- Apply make-up
- Design & apply nail art
- Provide head massage
Students must have ONE of the following:
- 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D & 1 at grade A*-E) including English, Maths & Science
- Level 1 Beauty Therapy qualification at Distinction
