This qualification will give students a range of skills from using applications to installing hardware and software. Units include:
- Improving productivity using IT
- IT users fundamentals
- Setting up an IT system
- Optimising IT system performance
- IT communication fundamentals
- Using the internet
- Using mobile IT devices
- Using emails
- IT security
- Spreadsheets
- Imaging software
- Presentation software
- Website software
- Word processing software
Students will also complete the Level 1 BTEC Award in Work Skills.
Students must have ONE of the following:
- 3 GCSEs including English and Maths
- A satisfactory interview
- Equivalent qualification with English and Maths
