This course consists of the following:
- Keeping children safe
- Encouraging children to eat healthily
- Books, stories, poems and rhymes for children
- Alternatives to paid work
- Valuing children as individuals
- Creative activities for children
- Planning for the physical & emotional care needs of children
- Children's learning through everyday experiences
- Learning experiences for young children
Students must have ALL of the following:
- GCSEs or school certificates
- A satisfactory interview
- Successful assessment including literacy and numeracy
