Masters Level Module

Fieldwork, and learning outside the classroom are fundamental parts of a rounded geography education. During this module, you will build a portfolio of educational experiences (from both the Institute and School-based practice). Through the course of the module, you will critically reflect on the effectiveness of those experiences, and how your developing understanding of pedagogy and learning in geography affects the planning of fieldwork experiences. The module is enhanced by a variety of fieldwork experiences including a residential trip to the Lake District. In this module, you will be required to reflect on what makes for an effective learning experience in geography, and to share your findings with colleagues and "experts".
