Computing for Beginners (ACLS)
This course consists of the following:
The course is aimed at those who have little or no computer experience. It aims to cover a wide range regarding what you can do on the computer at a general level.
It opens the imagination to what is possible with a computer. You will use common types of software to carry out simple tasks, such as Microsoft Word to produce a letter.
The content of the course is geared to build up confidence in yourself and your computer and can be tailored to your needs.
Students must be:
- Aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2012
- Studying their first ACLS funded course
- A Nottingham County Council resident
