What is the Course About?We have computer basics classes at IoM College and QEII High
School.
Computer Basics - Absolute Beginners - An introduction to
computers. Working with a desktop, laptop or tablet computer, learn
to complete simple tasks using the internet and email.
Computer Basics - User Skills - Using the internet and the computer
for home use. Suit students who have basic knowledge of computers
or have been on an absolute beginner's course. Students can work at
their own pace on mini projects to complete individual tasks.
Getting to Grips with Tablets - Learn how to maximise the use of
your tablet or decide which is the best tablet for you. This course
will look at how to set …

Getting to Grips with Tablets - Learn how to maximise the use of
your tablet or decide which is the best tablet for you. This course
will look at how to set them up, what they can be used for and how
to keep personal data safe. Some tablets will be available at the
session for students to try out. Students can choose to bring along
their own tablet but are requested to notify the College (648204)
before their session which type of tablet they are bringing so that
the correct information is available on the day for their
machine.
