• Selection and erection of wiring systems
• Switchgear
• Earthing arrangements and protection
• Conductors
• Supplies for safety services and other equipment

SPECIAL INSTALLATIONS OR LOCATIONS WITH PARTICULAR REQUIREMENTS

• Locations containing a bath-tub or shower basin and swimming pools
• Locations containing a hot-air sauna
• Construction site installations
• Electrical installations of agricultural and horticultural premises
• Restrictive conductive locations
• Earthing requirements
• Electrical installations in caravans and caravan parks
• High power supplies and street furniture

Ideally students must be currently working in the electrical installation industry although students with previous on-site experience can still apply.
