- Identify different types of abuse
- Understand professional role and responsibility
- Gain confidence in responding to situations of abuse
- To understand the importance of 'Whistle blowing'
- Legislation relating to abuse
- How to respond to and report allegations of abuse

Prior consultation with Managers/HR to ascertain level of care experience candidates have all ready completed as to provide the most beneficial package.
