With this home study course, you will cover the key aspects of English law and its practice.

An understanding of the law is useful in many areas of work, and the information covered in this distance learning course will provide a sound foundation for a career as a solicitor or barrister.

You will also look at the structure of the judicial system, criminal law, tort and contract law, as well as changes in European law and its wider implications.

Entry requirements and hours of study

• A general education up to GCSE level is advisable.
• You should allow 150 hours of study for the AS and 150 hours for the A2, plus extra time for completing assignments.
