This home study course will enable students to develop advanced skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening to French.

If you are thinking of a career in Europe, a good working knowledge of French will stand you in good stead. NEC's distance learning course covers an interesting selection of subjects relevant to contemporary society.

Entry requirements and hours of study

• A pass at A-C in GCSE French or equivalent is advisable for this course.
• You should allow 150 hours of study for the AS and 150 hours for the A2, plus extra time for completing assignments.
