Assessment:
Each unit 1 to 11 is assessed by athree hours written examination.And unit 12 is assessed by a project. Examinations are held in June and December each year.
Progression:
On completion the OTHM Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management QCF Level 6, the student will be eligible to be considered for OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (QCF) and also will be eligible to apply for direct entry to the final year of a BA (Hons) in Tourism & Hospitality Management. This qualification is appropriate for middle and senior managers.
Entry Requirement:
The OTHM Level 5 Professional Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (NQF) OR
The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (QCF) OR
An accredited British Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (NQF or QCF) OR
Overseas equivalent(s), as recognised by UK-NARIC, of an accredited British Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (NQF or QCF) OR
Proof of a minimum of eight years’ work experience within the travel, tourism and hospitality industry, including three years’ experience at team-leader or manager level.
Additional Requirements:
- English Language Competency (IELTS 6 or equivalent)
- OTHM Provisional Student Member Application needs to be completed. The completed form (including a passport size photograph) and payment of £ 40.00 (non-refundable) should be submitted at our college to register you on your chosen OTHM course.
Special Note: Your fee of £40.00 will be deducted from the full student member on joining to the college.
Course duration: 2 Years
Tuition Fees: £3,000*/year for International students and £2,000 for EEA/Swiss students.
*International students applying for visa extension from the UK are eligible for sponsorship, promotional discount on tuition fees.
