OTHM Level 3 Award
The OTHM Level 3 Award (replacement syllabus for original OTHM Introductory Certificate) is suitable for students who are at the beginning of their careers. Candidates do not necessarily have to have experience of working in the industry at the outset of the course but, if they do not have this experience, students are expected to be working in the industry on a part-time basis during the course. The OTHM Level 3 Award allows candidates to acquire useful basic knowledge as a preparation for a career in the industry.

OTHM Level 3 Award

Course duration: 3 months
Assessment
2 hours exam comprising:
- 30 multiple choice questions
- and 2 essay type questions
Progression:
On completion the OTHM Level 3 Award or the original OTHM Introductory Certificate Members will be eligible to be considered forOTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (QCF).
Entry requirements: Student must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course.
