Description
This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Experiment with wax and dyes to produce unique pieces of fabric that can be made into a variety of small textile items. It will teach the basics of batik, how to prepare fabrics, stretch onto frames, apply wax resists and use dyes to decorating fabrics. This course will respond to learner’s interests and experience. You will explore traditional and contemporary batik.
