If you want to develop your knowledge of weight management so that you can embark on a rewarding career or you are already working in a related field and want to improve your career prospects, then this is the course for you.
On completion of the Distance Learning Weight
Management Diploma course the student will have
gained a fully comprehensive knowledge of why people may wish to
lose weight and an understanding of eating disorders and how the
digestive system works. By the end of this programme the student
will have gained the knowledge that will allow them to read and
understand food labels, work out a client’s Body Mass Index and
have the ability to be able to run their own weight management
consultancy.
The educational material is designed to allow the learner to obtain
information on how to educate clients into forming a better
relationship with food, and for them to gain an understanding of a
programme to follow that will allow them to lose weight.
This course will give all that is needed for the student to become
a Weight Management Consultant and to
open and run their own business. This course is ideal for
individuals who wish to have the ability to design weight loss
plans for others, to obtain information on how the body uses food
and to lecture and teach others on the benefits of nutritious
foods. It is suitable for people who wish to know more about the
benefits of nutrition and healthy eating.
Previous Knowledge Required
You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.
