Description

As a Level 2 Extended Apprentice you will learn about farming and conservation at work and study the underpinning knowledge at college for one day per week for up to 25 weeks.

This apprenticeship normally takes between 12-18 months to complete, during which time you will be paid according to the Agricultural Wages Order. You will need to complete a Diploma at Level 2 in Environmental Conservation.

Addititional qualifications that may also be gained include Certificates of Competence in ATV Handling and Chainsaw Operation.

Price

While you are on an Apprenticeship, your employer pays you a salary and supports you whilst you undertake your training.

The National Apprenticeship Service will pay the costs of your training depending on your age.
