PURPOSEThe MA Modern Greek Studies (Interdisciplinary) programme
leads to an area-studies degree focussing on Greece and Greeks in
the modern period and based on taught modules in either or both of
the following disciplines: literature and sociolinguistics.
DESCRIPTION
- The only programme in the UK, and one of the few in the world, that provides graduate-level specialist teaching in Modern Greek Studies within a one-year format.
- Unique combination of facilities for research and learning in the subject: the King's Maughan Library houses the premier collection of Greek publications in the UK; additional unique facilities for research in the field are available at the British Library, the National Archives, and, at King's itself, including the Centre for Hellenic Studies.
