PURPOSEThe MSc in Family Therapy programme is designed for
professionals working in a mental health setting (eg. nurses, GPs,
paediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers,
occupational therapists), who wish to complete their training in
family therapy. They will have already completed the first two
years of Family Therapy training either at the IoP or on another
Association for Family Therapy accredited course, and have
significant clinical experience. The MSc qualifies professionals
for registration with the UK Council for Psychotherapy as a family
and systemic psychotherapist. The course is accredited by the
Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice and the UK
Council for Psychotherapy.
