Suitable For

The NVQ management programme at Grantham College is designed for managers with current or recent management experience at various different levels.

Course Content

The programme covers the following units:

• Introduction to Leadership
• Developing yourself and others
• Managing conflict in the workplace
• Managing performance Plus three additional optional units from a wide choice.

Assessment Method

Assessment is based on an individual portfolios that you will compile as you progress through the course. You will be assessed on:

• Outcomes of effective performance
• Behaviours which underpin effective performance
• Knowledge and understanding.

Progression

There is the potential to progress to NVQ Level 4 providing you are working at that level.

Entry Requirements

This course is designed for mangers with current or recent experience at a variety of levels. Before starting this course, you will need to be interviewed to ascertain the NVQ level most appropriate to your needs. This process will involve a self - audit of your current role against the demands of each particular qualification.
