This course is suitable for candidates who:

- Wish to multi - skill.
Course Content
Students will study two core units:
- Health & Safety
- Working with others Plus a choice of two/four optional units from:
- Milling
- Turning
- Grinding
- Drilling
- Fabrication
- Fitting
- Electrical Wiring
- Soldering.
Assessment Method
Assessment is by:
- City & Guilds practical assignments marked by the course tutor
- Portfolio of evidence.
Progression
Students may wish to progress onto the BTEC National Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering currently offered by the College, or various Level 3 courses in the workplace.

Overalls, safety boots and a calculator will be required for this course. All students will be interviewed prior to starting the course.
Entry Requirements
GCSEs in Maths and English are required.
