C&G NVQ Certificate Advice and Guidance Level 3

Suitable For

Those who work directly with clients, disseminating information advice and some level of guidance. Candidates will be working with information that is often interpreted by others, usually working within some clear guidelines.

Course Content

To achieve this qualification, candidates must complete a total of 21 credits, 12 units from the 4 Mandatory units and 9 credits from Optional units of which 3 credits must be at Level 3. Mandatory Units:

• Establish communication with clients for advice and guidance
• Support clients to make use of the advice and guidance service
• Review own contribution to the service
• Understand importance of legislation and procedures Option Units - there are a number of option units from which you make your choice, subject to a minimum of 9 credits being achieved.

Assessment Method

You will be allocated an assessor who will assess you carrying out your role

Progression

Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Advice and Guidance if working at this level.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements but you must be employed and undertake advice and guidance activities working directly with clients, disseminating information, advice and guidance.
