- You will be taught by experienced healthcare practitioner lecturers who have additional specialist higher qualifications
- On some modules or programmes, if you are employed within Wales you may, by application to both the university and an NHS employer, be given a Welsh Government (WG) funded place. Further details on application.
- The Specialist Community Public Health Nursing degrees lead to registration on Part III of the United Kingdom Nursing and Midwifery Council Register. Successful completion of the BSc (Hons) Community Specialist Practice allows you to record your qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Successful completion of either course allows you to record the V100 Community Nurse Prescribing qualification
This part-time course is designed for health care professionals who are in, or aspiring to progress into, management roles at ward or team level.
The course provides you with a sound theoretical and research basis for leadership and management practice and incorporates practice based learning. You will carry out a substantial project showing how you have developed your leadership and management skills in practice. For those already holding an honours degree this course is also offered as a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma.
