You will develop the ability to adapt creative solutions to new situations, solve problems and manage your time effectively.     Strong industry links. Final year students regularly exhibit their work in regional and national art galleries
    Investigate the flexibility and interdisciplinary advantages offered by fine art – access workshops in ceramics, glass, digital imaging and more, and use the new technologies at the Centre for the Creative Industries
    Opportunity to study abroad through the Erasmus Scheme
    High profile visiting artists with national and international contacts; Estelle Thompson, Research Professor in Fine Art is a contemporary painter of international standing. There are opportunities to learn from her and other high profile visiting artists
    High quality studio space and specialist project spaces allow students to test out ideas and learn not only through making but also through a process of installing, re-installing and reconfiguring their work

Career opportunities

Pursue employment in a range of art-related industries. Opportunities include setting up your own business; running an art gallery; work as an art teacher or as a specialist arts officer in the public or voluntary sector.
