Course Content
This course will equip you with the strategic and operational skills to plan, execute and manage festivals and events from initial concept through to successful completion. You will study the key business elements involved in event management from initial feasibility studies and scoping,, concept development , event impacts, finance and managing information to marketing your event and dealing with human resource management aspects and sustainability issues.
You will also undertake a project which allows you to focus on an area which interests you within the festival and events industry and provides a practical element to the programme.
