Entry CriteriaWhat do I need to get on the course? You will have already gained qualifications at Level 3 or above, this could be a National Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or relevant A Level subjects including mathematics. There is a formal interview procedure which you attend where a member of the team will have the opportunity to ascertain your qualifications and suitability. You of course will also have the opportunity to see whether this course of study is right for you and exactly what it entails. Part of the process is for you to be given a maths assessment, not as daunting as it sounds, because we ask you to take it away to complete. When you are ready you then make an appointment to review your answers, this gives both you and us the opportunity to see what level you are at and make a judgement on course suitability.
Progression DetailsWhat can I do after the course? Engineering is almost an unlimited field of opportunity and the skills you develop stand you in good stead for all sorts of career, in each path there is a requirement for design, manufacturing, quality, maintenance and systems engineers. You could specialise in materials, analytical, stress or even research, there are no boundaries to available careers.
