Description
Are you 19+? Is English not your first language?
Improve your English skills and work towards a high level Cambridge exam (FCE or CAE) with our part-time EFL (English as a Foreign Language) courses. You study for 2 hours a week over a 10 or 12-week period to prepare for the exam of your choice.
You learn:
• correct English pronunciation
• accurate spoken English
• grammatical patterns
• vocabulary and phrases used by native speakers
• how to write reports, letters and articles
• study skills
You prepare for FCE, CAE or IELTS exams using real language situations. You work in pairs or small groups to improve your spoken fluency, accuracy and pronunciation and maximise your learning.

You receive written homework that your teacher will mark and give
feedback on. Examination entry is optional. Exam costs are not
included in the course fee. Current exam costs range from £137 to
£142
You improve your language so that you can use English more
effectively at work and in academic environments. You will also be
awarded a College certificate and you can choose to take the FCE or
CAE exam.
You will receive more information on how to enter for the exam once
you join the course.
You must have an initial assessment and an interview to check if the course is suitable for you.
