AAT Access will help you develop skills that open doors for you in all types of businesses - from small local firms to large multinational companies. Additional NotesAAT student fees for AAT Access o AAT admission fee - No charge o Student registration - £32 (registration lasts one year) o Learning materials - £20 Students can also register for both AAT Access and AAT Level 2 at the same time, in which case they will be charged for AAT Level 2 registration only. Fees for learning materials and the assessment will still apply. Joint Level 1 and Level 2 Registration o AAT admission fee - £35 o Annual student registration and membership - £82 o Learning materials (student book) - £20 ll AAT fees are accurate for 2012-2013.
Entry CriteriaYou don’t need formal qualifications or experience to study for AAT Access. You should enjoy working with figures and be literate and numerate.
Progression DetailsOn successful completion of the level 1 Access to AAT course you will be able to progress on to the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting course, which in turn leads to Leve 3 Diploma in Accounting and and then on to the AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting course. Once students have completed their AAT studies they may be eligible for exemptions from the foundation stage examinations of the UK Chartered accountancy bodies (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAEW) or they may wish to study for a Foundation Degree in Business or for a Full Degree.
