Purpose:

We all see the world differently to others. Your unique view is formed by your own individual perceptions and beliefs. If you can understand where these perceptions and beliefs come from, you can then begin to understand why others may see things differently.The Insights system celebrates the uniqueness of each individual and how we perceive things differently. It illustrates the exceptional ways in which recognising and valuing these differences can empower people, teams and entire organisations.By having a greater understanding of your own behavioral preferences, together with the different preferences that exist, you can begin to appreciate who others are and improve your relationship with them.

Objectives:

By the end of the session you will be able to:

• Describe the Insights Discovery Learning System
• Explain how your own preferences affect the way you communicate, adapt and connect with others
• Use this knowledge to build your understanding of how this impacts on your performance
• Consider an action you will take in order to enhance your performance
