NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health is an occupational health course that is also appropriate for those requiring the deeper level of knowledge that is offered by a Level 3 NEBOSH course.
Recommended entry requirements for the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health
Delegates wishing to study for the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health are recommended to hold NEBOSH National General Certificate or NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health (Level 3) or equivalent.
What are the benefits of attending NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health training?
Holders of the new NEBOSH Diploma will be entitled to use the DipNEBOSH designation and, with appropriate vocational experience and an interview, will be able to proceed to corporate membership of IOSH (MIOSH).

Unit D: Workplace-based assignment
The focus of the Unit D assignment should be the application of the knowledge and understanding developed in Units A, B and C to a real workplace situation.
Assessment
Each unit of the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health will be assessed by an examination. The pass mark for each examination is 45%.
Each candidate is also required to complete the 8,000-word assignment for Unit D. The overall mark will be an aggregate of the examination and assignment marks. Slightly more emphasis will be given to the examination marks.
