Intended for entry at Year 3, the course assumes that you will already have a broad computing background. The skills you'll graduate with will depend on your choice of subjects. Overall, you'll develop extensive knowledge in both broad-based and specialist areas of information technology, and the practical skills necessary for applying this knowledge to the complex IT problems and issues that will arise in the field. What's involved Based over two years (entry is at Year 3 of a four year course), the course will involve lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and independent study. Year 3 Work Placement, plus Project Management for Information Systems, Enterprise Systems and your choice of Business Information Sources or a range of modules offered by our Business School. You may also include a European language. Year 4 Honours Project, three core Computing modules plus two optional modules. Typical choice might include Information Strategy, Information Society & Security, Knowledge Management plus two modules from the Business School.
